It is the birthday period in the chocolate family, October offers us three opportunities to blow the candles ...
This is chocolator junior who started the festivities and as every year I rack my head to make him a beautiful cake. This year I had little time (if at all) and I got taken a little late I admit. On the day I started to make her cake and I saw that I was missing the cream, essential for chocolate ganache makes up the cake in question. Mr. chocolate is being proposed to go fast look for before closing shops (yes I got taken very late ...) it is at full party for our big boy can have a beautiful cake. Did not count on chocolate gentleman who reported the blunder evaporated milk instead of cream (same layout, same color he told me ....) I had this day abandon the planned cake and improvise a quick cake to plant candles chocolator junior in anything other than bread ...
Since I had a good stock of evaporated milk I tried a cake and eventually all the world has enjoyed.

for a 20 cm x square cake 20 cm :
200 g chocolate
20 cl evaporated milk
100 g of sugar (but you can put 150 g)
4 medium eggs
100 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
25 ml oil
1 pinch salt
200 g chocolate
20 cl evaporated milk
100 g of sugar (but you can put 150 g)
4 medium eggs
100 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
25 ml oil
1 pinch salt
To melt chocolate. Add the evaporated milk and eggs and a pinch of salt. Mix well. Add sugar, flour and baking powder. Add the oil and mix to make smooth paste.
Pour into a greased dish or individual molds.
I used for my part the square pan "tablet" Demarle (but a mold lined with parchment paper will be fine too)
Bake at 180 degrees (preheated oven) for 20 to 25 minutes (20 minutes were enough for me)
If you are using individual molds cook 15 minutes less time will be suitable.
Test for doneness with the blade of a knife should come out of the cake without a trace.
Turn the cake a once it is cold.
